SO today wasn’t one of my easiest of days. For some reason the students decided to give me the run around. Not that it was a good day for them to. I ran out of coffee at home and the coffee in the teachers lounge was cold when I got there. So I started class with a cold cup of coffee and fifteen overly bright faces staring at me.

Ten paper airplanes, one bloody nose, three time-outs, five teary faces, and a massive head ache later and I was free for lunch and a nice hot cup of coffee. The rest of the day seemed to go smoother, less attacks on me and each other. It seems the threat of a quiz everyday for the rest of the week put them back in place for today. I have this brooding feeling that they will be at it again tomorrow. You can’t blame them though, with how nice the weather has been lately I am sure they just want to be outside playing.

Naruto was like that, he would get restless around this time of year. He and Kiba would give me the worst trouble trying to sneak out, and then disappearing during recess. I wonder how they are doing. Last I saw Kiba, he was doing well. I wonder if Naruto is back in Konoha. It would be great to see him.

Sakura and I had tea after I got off work today. It was wonderful to talk with her and catch up. It sounds like she really has advanced in her skills. It makes me very glad that Tsunade-sama took her in as her apprentice. Sakura always seemed to have some trouble finding her niche in the ninja world, but it seems she finally found it and is really blossoming. It’s always nice to see your former students do so well in life.

Now to grade some papers before tomorrow.
